Heimtextil 2025 is gearing up to present an even larger, more international, and higher-quality Carpets & Rugs segment. The upcoming event will feature double the number of exhibitors, an additional hall level, and exciting new highlights. Industry professionals can look forward to seeing strong brands, innovative products, and engaging content formats at the international trade fair for home and contract textiles, set to take place in Frankfurt.

The Carpets & Rugs segment is experiencing substantial growth in both quality and quantity, with more than twice as many exhibitors already registered compared to the previous year, six months ahead of the event. “This response from the market highlights the industry’s need for a strong, international, and centralized carpet platform, and Heimtextil is well-positioned to meet that demand,” said Bettina Bär, director of Heimtextil. “We are offering a comprehensive market overview with a diverse product range and the highest quality standards. We’ve listened to the market, and now we are expanding and organizing our offerings to present them in a well-structured manner for visitors.”

The segment’s growth will be showcased with the addition of Hall 5.0, which will host an expanded selection of hand-woven carpets and international country pavilions. Meanwhile, Hall 5.1 will continue to feature machine-woven carpets, alongside pre-production materials such as fibers and yarns, as well as carpet-specific technologies. Visitors will also find a broad array of hand-knotted carpets, doormats, clean-off systems, outdoor textile solutions, and products designed for contract businesses. A new collaborative carpet area is being developed with Ragolle Rugs and the Belgian association Fedustria, where Belgian exhibitors will present high-quality offerings in a joint display.

A Strong Industry Response: Leading Exhibitors Confirm Participation

Numerous prominent brands have already committed to exhibiting at Heimtextil 2025. Among them are first-time participants like Bhadohi Carpets (India), Balta Home (Belgium), and Kaleen Lifestyle (India). Returning favorites include Lalee OHG (Germany) and key industry players such as Heritage Overseas (India), Mittal International (India), Oriental Weavers Group (Egypt), Ragolle Rugs (Belgium), and Rugs in Style (India). The Decoteam will showcase offerings from companies like Infloor-Girloon (Germany) and the Paulig manufactory (Germany), known for its unique hand-woven carpets. Exhibitors from the Belgian association Fedustria and the Tunisian association Office National de L’Artisanat will also bring their high-quality carpets to the fair.

Exhibitors have lauded the new Carpets & Rugs segment for providing a global meeting point and platform for showcasing trends and innovations. Yasmine Khamis, chairwoman of the Oriental Weavers Group, praised the event: “Our first participation in Heimtextil was a success, offering excellent networking opportunities and introducing us to numerous international contacts. We’re excited to return in 2025.” Similarly, Manmohan Sharma, founding partner of Mittal International, appreciated the launch of the segment, stating, “The concept was a hit, drawing customers and generating orders from the USA and Mexico. We’re expanding our stand for 2025 and are eager to continue shaping this platform.”

Current Trends and an Enriching Content Programme

In addition to the expanded exhibitor lineup, Heimtextil 2025 will offer an extensive content programme spread across two stages. Visitors can expect business-boosting presentations on current industry topics, thought-provoking panel discussions, and guided tours that highlight trends and innovations. The popular Carpet Lounge, located in the foyer of Halls 5.1/6.1, will return in 2025, featuring eye-catching designs and trends, offering a space for networking and inspiration.

Heimtextil 2025 is scheduled to take place from January 14 to 17, 2025, in Frankfurt.
